Larry's photographs will be featured in the exhibition and publications related to Niki de Saint Phalle: Mythical California opening January 13 – March 4, 2018 at California Center for the Arts. He was one of the chief photographers documenting the construction of her sculpture garden, Queen Califia's Magical Circle, a major work gifted to the city of Escondido. In the early 1960s, she was a member of the "New Realists," a group that included Christo, Yves Klein, and Jean Tinguely (whom she later married.) She is known for oversized, voluptuous female figures called "Nanas." Among her large-scale installations are the Stravinsky Fountain at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
