Nicki Sucec is a San Diego native currently working in both California and Washington. She is a conceptual artist, a maker and a curator. Nicki specializes in site-specific metal sculpture and multi-media installation and has both a public and studio art practice.
Nicki’s art functions as a transcendent language, conveying the essence and impact of potent human themes such as social stigmatization, environmental degradation and personal trauma. An animating force of her art is giving voice to the journeys of human beings who are unheard and disenfranchised, giving form and metaphor to both the vulnerability and tenacity of life. |
